Pre-Cruise hotel in New Orleans

Anyone know the pre-cruise Hotel ACL is using for Lower Mississippi cruises in New Orleans, and whether it gets good reviews?

in March it was the Intercon on St Charles/Poydras.  it was fine...........Luke's across the street was pretty good

We're on the November 23 NO to Memphis cruise.  Can confirm that we will be at the Intercontinental.

We are staying at the Intercontinental in November.  This seems like a nice hotel, but is the area of the hotel safe?  Thank you.

We stayed at the intercontinental in May 2022. Nice hotel and in a decent area of business hotels. You can walk to the French Quarter, but Iber would be a better option. We walked to the Creole House over on Canal St. Once on Canal, you can catch the light rail into the FQ. 
The New Orleans to Memphis cruise was wonderful. On the American Melody.
