In your experience, has CCL offered the onboard credit benefit to shareholders every year and if so, is the amount fairly similar year to year?

The offer has been available for over 15 years (that I know of). It has remained the same for that entire time.

Just got m confirmation for our 14 day cruise - $100.  Still waiting for the following 7 day cruise  we recently tacked on. I suspect it will be $50?

I sent the account confirmation by email and got an email response in a few days.  Before I would FAX the information and it always appeared on our onboard accounts, but never got an official  confirmation.

I've only sent the information by email, but have always received a confirmation (generally the same day or week). For one of our cruises, I had to re-request a confirmation, which arrived the same day.

Note that the Shareholder OBC does not apply to certain types of cruises, like casino offers, and other free offers. The confirmation will list any reason OBC is not available. For example, my next cruise was a free offer from last August and did not qualify for the additional OBC (I forgot about this rule when I applied, but it makes sense to us).

Shareholder should be 250 for 14 days.

It's always been $250 for 14 days.  However, that is per cabin.  So if two people both own stock, they have to split the $250.  Every year the announcement about the stock shipboard credit says this is good for the year.  However, I have yet to see it get discontinued or lowered.  I bought my 100 shares for about $45 a share, and then the stock market took a huge nosedive.  My shares have yet to come anywhere close to what I bought them for.  However, I've owned them long enought and taken enough two week cruises that I have made up the loss in shipboard credit.  It's also good on Carnival, Cunard, Costa, and Princess-if you ever decide to sail those.

I better check which booking number this applied to: the 14 day cruise or the 7 day cruise. Thanks for the alert. I thought it was more too, but "covid" pretty much changed the old game plan.

UPDATE:  you all are right: $100 credit for the 7 day booking number. Not yet heard about the 14 day segment.  Thanks, all of you with sharper eyes than mine.
