Cabin Location

We were in a mini-suite on Dolphin and loved it! The fact that it was not covered was not a big deal. In fact, the day we sailed, we saw the people in the cabin above us, and despite being on the balcony a lot, we never saw them again.

No cons that I can think of, other than the fact having a mini-suite spoils you for the future.

We had D505 on the Star and absolutely loved it. The balcony being exposed didn't bother us at all. There weren't that many people on the balconies anyway. It was a great place to sit at 2-3am to feel the breeze and see the stars. It was so peaceful!

We have been in D330 on the Star and D408 on the Golden. Both are mid ship and close to the middle elevators. Very convenient for us. We also found that if we walked all the way to the aft elevators and went up to the horizon cafe it was much quicker than going up the middle set and through the pool areas.

Enjoy your mini. We love the extra room and full bathroom!

If it's on a Grand-class ship, the only negative (for some) is that the balcony is exposed to view from above. Otherwise, they are great cabins. Enjoy! :)

Where have you been, Rob? Haven't seen you around the boards in ages. Good to see your post.

Chris
