Canadian dollars in casino

Hello everyone!

We will be on the NY to Montreal cruise which leaves two weeks from today (Yay!😁) and I was wondering if we could use Canadian dollars in the video poker games in the casino. We have some Canadian cash leftover from an earlier trip this year and we were wondering if we could spend it on that guilty pleasure. We usually only spend about $20. per person and generally just break even but we have so much fun it’s worth it even if we lose. So I’m hoping we can either feed the machine or change it to US dollars if that’s not possible. Thank you as always and to my American friends, Happy Labor Day!

I would say no, but you can probably change it, for a fee. I'd just spend it in Montreal, or any other Canadian ports.

Spend it in the Canadian ports  or  maybe  some of the Canadians onboard would  trade you  for some USD  🙂

 

 

We never tried to use CAD in the casino  I usually buy some USD  before we sail
