Wheeled Dog Sled

When docked at Skagway, are there two wheeled dog sled tours? Seems I hear about the one at Caribou Crossing and one at Dyea or are they one and the same. If they are different, is one better than the other. Thanks.

They are different, I haven't been yet so I cant' comment on whether one or the other is better.

The one at Dyea I believe is only bookable through the cruiseline for around

$100+ per person while the one at Caribou Crossing is about $52ca. The one at Dyea may be a longer ride, I'm not sure. I know there are a few people that have posted reviews and photos of this excursion.

You can check out http://www.cariboucrossing.ca for more info on the other one. I know there is also a link to a website for the owner of the dogs at Caribou Crossing, maybe Yukon can post this.

As mentioned, 2 separate tours, and separate locations about 80 miles apart. :) You can get to Caribou Crossing with a rental car. Plus the excellent Klondike Highway drive to Emerald Lake. http://www.cariboucrossing.ca/

If going to Seward I give an edge to Seavey's vs Skagway for pricing.
