OT- Miami Airport

I'll be flying on American Airlines to Paris with a few hours layover in Miami and have a couple of questions about the international part of the Maimi airport.

 

Any particularly good duty free shops there? Good prices on anything specific?

 

How's the AA Business Class lounge? At JFK, it's a poor excuse for a lounge. Is the MIA one any better?

In that MIA is AA's gateway hub to Latin America, I'd guess that it should be better than NY. However, I haven't been in the MIA clubrooms. There is no dedicated "business class lounge" - you just get access to the Admirals Club. One is inside security and one is outside. You can get more info on the two Admirals Clubs HERE.
