Let's confirm you are human

Recommended Posts

When I click on a link to a specific thread, I often get a screen that says "Let's confirm you are human" and asks me to click on "Begin>". When I hover my mouse of the link, I don't see any target address.

I don't click on that link, since I never click on links that I'm not expecting. Clicking on unexpected links is an easy way to compromise my computer. Is this page a legitimate Cruise Critic page? If so, why do you ask me to solve a security puzzle before taking my to the thread I requested? I look at most of the new threads in the Princess forum, and I get this message a lot. I don't want to solve a dozen security puzzles just to read a dozen threads.

I generally just ignore it, log off, and go back to Cruise Critic later.
