Carlyle Posted March 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2006 We are a family of six adults going on the Mariner of the Seas on April 30th. Does anyone have a transport service he/she can recommend from an airport hotel to the port? We will have 6 large suitcases so a limo would not be big enough. Thanks for your help.:D
em_in_murphy Posted March 18, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2006 If you don't mind driving yourself, I would highly recommend renting a car one way. When I was on the MOS, my family of 7 rented a minivan from Budget. They have a shuttle that will take you directly to the ship. Then you can reserve one the following Sunday to return to the airport.

dshebert Posted March 18, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 18, 2006 Hi Carlyle. We are using OrlandoShuttles.com for our May 28th Mariner cruise. They will pick you up where you want, when you want. They work with you instead of vise-versa. For 6 people it would be about $48 per person round trip, plus driver tip. We have a group of 19 and the price was even lower. I liked the idea that we would be the only people on the shuttle and they are picking us up when we want not when they want. Just an idea. Thanks for your help.:D Give this place a call. We were pleased with their service and prices last January. “Just Try Us” Transportation (407-851-4111 for quote) Only $223 roundtrip for 10 including tip. They supplied a large van that was capable of transporting the 10 of us plus our luggage. If there are more than 10 (up to 15), the driver said he simply hooks up his trailer for the luggage. Noreen411 Posted March 18, 2006 #8 Share Posted March 18, 2006 Hi I highly recommend Happy Limo. We used them on our March 5 cruise on the Mariner. They were professional, prompt, and very pleasant with immaculate cars. We were picked up in a town car (which we reserved) from the airpot and driven to the pier. We even had a stop at a grocery store included. On the way back from the ship to the airport, we were pleasantly surprised to be picked up in a huge white stretch Lincoln Navigator. I would definitely use Happy Limo again in the future. Enjoy your cruise Noreen

Noreen411 Posted March 18, 2006 #10 Share Posted March 18, 2006 Hi CruisinFanatic Understood that the towncar won't fit their needs. I'm recommending the company. Happy Limo offers cars of all sizes. The stretch Navigator we had definitely would accommodate 6 people. Their website lists the various vehicles they have available. Sorry if I wasn't clear. Thanks Noreen
