Puerto Vallarta -- Resort Day Pass Suggestions

We will be at Puerto Vallarta in January 2024.  Just going to the Malecon is one option we are considering for the day.  However, we are also considering doing a day pass to a resort instead.  Going to an all-inclusive resort would be nice, but it is not a make-or-break for us.  We are eager to read your recommendations based either from your experience or from your research.  Thanks.  (A nice beach-side restaurant along the Malecon might be a nice compromise).

I like the Marriott and the Westin. Look too at Secret's and Dream's.

Many hotels donot give out daypasses in winter when there are more or less fully booked. A nice option can be a "Beach"pass at restaurant Eldorado or its neighbour La Palapa on Playa los Muertes, not far from the Malecon, and very close to the pier. https://www.eldoradopvr.com/
