When can we book shore included shore excursions with Uniworld

We have booked the SS Victoria for August 2nd 2024 and I have signed on to the travel portal but do not see a date when the shore excursions can be booked.  I know I am far in advance but it seems unusual that a start date is not shown.  Maybe there will just be availability for the entire ship and I am concerned about nothing.  We are obviously more used to ocean cruises.  Thanks for your input.

Referring to the Masterpiece Collection tours for an additional price?  On the two Uniworld cruises we've taken, there was no problem booking them onboard.  I see that the site says

"Please note that requests to pre-book must be made by calling our Reservations Team no later than 6 days prior to departure and are subject to availability."

so if you're really worried you can call before departure as the time gets closer, but it's way too early to think about it now.

I read that the cruise director meets each evening pre dinner and talks through the following day’s excursions. You then get the opportunity to decide which one or independently visit the town/village attractions!

Yes, I'm just back from the 15-day Budapest-Amsterdam cruise, our third Uniworld cruise.  Early in the cruise they ask you to select which tours you want throughout the cruise.  If you select a Masterpiece Collection tour, that commits you to pay the price.  Some of the other tours might have a limit on the number of participants, or they might ask so that they can determine how many buses or local guides they need to use for a tour, but people can change their minds, except for going over limits.  Some docks are located in places where it's easy to go off on one's own; for others, it's more of a problem.
