Just found out.......THAT THEY ARE PLANNING TO GO TO THE CANARY  ISLANDS

Is that good or bad?

It sounds like this ship isn't in as good shape as they thought. They should have pushed the start back a month in the beginning instead of two weeks at a time. It reads better politically, makes it easier to plan for the pax, and if the ship is done early, they can do a shake-down cruise with the crew.

I really want to believe this ship will sail, but these delays are troubling.

At least they actually have a ship. My friends were burned by Life at Sea with their "we're having trouble transferring the funds but will have the ship next week" week after week.

They are due to sail in June 21.  Wonder if they will make it?

So, Cruise tracker still has the ship in Belfast, where she was undergoing drydock repairs.  Hmmm....

Very worrisome.  It appears from the repeated mechanical failures that they have chosen a ship that is old (1993) and not sea worthy.

I would love to know what is happening to the paying passengers

The latest from Cruise Industry News:

Villa Vie Residences to Set Sail July 20

But this is a projection based on completing a major replacement project for the "rudder stocks" and then getting certification.  I hope the Canary Islands can hold their charm...

Wow.  That is some time slip from original sail date.  I would be chewing my fingernails were I a potential passenger.  This does not bode well.

I will believe it when the eye sail away.   The question is how long do the passengers wait until they ask for a refund or prorated trip?  Then the line will say they don't have enough passengers and/or money to make the venture profitable.  Oy vey.
