Bahamas announced tax increases a few months ago to go info effect in January.

The rep said that the Caribbean, not sure what country increased their port fee. The extra amount is due October 30. I never received anything about owning any extra  money. I also owed money on my February cruise.

Bahamas/Nassau.  Got an e-mail from Royal and also there was a thread on this topic.  Informed by Royal, but no notifications for my TA.

Thank you, smokeybandit for the information. I never received anything and my other cruises didn't increase. Very strange.
