That's a hard way to get free wifi. I hope she is resting and getting healthy again. It's the 1st case that we have heard of on this cruise.

The individual may have been "removed " because they were in need of medical assistance from the fall off of the ship. 

 

But you are correct, nothing I've seen or heard on the ship has said anything more. I just hope that the individual is doing well as far as health.

The captain came on the PA around midnight the first night of the cruise. My first post stated what was said. Also Royal Caribbean made an official Statement on the incident.

Well, you can't "just fall overboard" if you're doing the right things. 

You could fall overboard if you were, for example, sitting on the railings.

I know we argue endlessly about the going overboard terminology. But in the end, it doesn't really matter. The person is either gone for good, or infrequently recovered with injuries. The "how" is interesting, but the outcome is generally the same. 

 

In this case, I am glad the person was found!

I am still onboard.

The story circulating is an elderly man who has dementia and after an argument with his wife, he jumped.

Fortunately he was rescued, okay, and removed in Valencia.
