Anyone have an idea of the hotels Regent use in Rio ?

 

They're advising TBD but wondering who may be on their rotation ...

We have be assigned the JW Marriott for our March 2024 cruise from Rio to Lisbon.

They used to state the beachside Sheraton from memory. We are doing Rio to Lisbon on Splendor in March 2025, I guess it might change by then!

We are also in the JW Marriott before joining that cruise 🙂

We did this cruise several years ago and they put us up at the JW Marriott in Copacabana overlooking the beach. Then I heard they were going back to the Sheraton. The Sheraton is away from the city but has its own beach.

Can I ask how you found out which hotel you are in as I looked on the booking on the website and cannot see it.

When we flew into Rio for a pre-cruise tour, we were originally told JW Marriott, but then were moved to the Fairmont.  The Fairmont has a GREAT location.  On Copacabana, but easy to get to Ipanema.

We get to Rio on the 18th from London and that is still saying TBD, guess we will have to be patient.

@kentishman11 we had trouble finding flights from London so booked via Madrid and are arriving a day early.  We were fairly late booking because of switching cruises (we expect our first Grandchild in February and didn't want to miss out on cuddles) but sorted it out with Regent UK, thankfully.

 

We'll look forward to seeing you on board!   (Have you found the roll call for our cruise?)

Hi I am on the Voyager Capetown to Rio Jan 12th. The post cruise hotel is the Sheraton Grand Rio.
