There be no Haven line. Alas, we are left to fend for ourselves outside the bubble.

I think we might survive!

Are all those people waiting for The 🤴?

Hahahaha no. Just to get back to our conveyance vessel to Bermuda.

Just wondered if the Prima food left everyone hungry 🤣

Conveyance Vessel = non-luxurious cruise ship?  Sorry your cruise hasn’t been over-the-top amazing☹️

I can't really hear the announcements, but I think they're calling for passengers. We're safely onboard with no great place to watch pier runners. If we stay beyond 4, I'll know why. I also won't really care, but I do wish I could watch the pier runners more easily. Plenty of time to make it to Bermuda.

Not everything can be perfect, eh? Still mostly enjoying the trip.

These Ambassadors were on our shore excursion and were quite cranky with one another and the guide. They were sure enjoying the slots this evening though! Minus the crank and slots, I hope we are like them in a few decades!

Omg, I though ambassadors are a myth...🙄

You found rare species in the wild going wild.

And those red seeds are deadly toxic to humans and animals.

I had a ton in the yard of my last home.

Ripped them out.

They are really cool, but... be aware that a Sago Palm can be poisonous to your pets!

Oh my!  Thank you! I'm so happy I didnt try one. Sometimes I choose to experience my environment with all the senses, including taste. This led to a very dusty mouthful of Spanish Moss when I was having an extremely spiritual moment at Brookgreen Gardens. I reached for a much too large handful and tried to chew it. That was a definite (non-poisonous) mistake!

Dinner this evening was in the Haven!

Pork Belly, Porcine Risotto, Prime Rib, and Decadent Chocolate Cake for me. I think we were at the table @kasimir occupied last night for Thanksgiving as it was very not bright.

13 piece Shrimp Cocktail and Pork Scallopini for him, with a scoop of ice cream (not pictured).

13 are not here as a couple were eaten prior to the photo. Still with the Shrimp Louie presentation, as you can see. We were told the presentation must remain, which is why a Shrimp Louie is presented.

The meal tonight was excellent once a liberal layer of salt and pepper were applied.

I was thinking that our cruising days may be over. The staff, overall, are amazing! The quality is not.

it's difficult to say with certainty because there have been across the fleet cutbacks since i sailed the prima back in may and june... but have you considered your dissatisfaction may be related to the prima itself? and not NCL cruises overall? i hate to think you abandon ship (pun intended) over one disappointing cruise.

without a doubt, quality is declining pretty much everywhere. but i found the prima to be unique in how poorly run the ship was from a quality control standpoint. and the lack of attention to detail. the only senior management officials that seem remotely interested in guest feedback were the F&B team. and that's ironic, since many of your concerns are about food and beverage. sure, you can fill out a survey when you get back... but you can also talk to some folks while onboard. i found the F&B team were awfully good listeners, especially when it came to comments about indulge. i'm sure they'd be equally interested in haven feedback.

It's certainly possible. I'm not a "never again" kind of person. There's been too many times in my life when never has become let's do it again! Yesterday I was quite whiny. Part of that was my mood until we got on our excursion.

Food has become better since Wednesday and Thursday. Not quite as good as before, but good.

I have enjoyed Indulge. The lunch menu is a little lacking, but we've had dinner there twice and it has been good. I need to try that BBQ pork again at lunch to see if my whine was a one off.

So far, I've enjoyed Pr1ma itself. I do have to amend my statement about creaking and popping now that seas are slightly more rough than a normal Caribbean sailing. Honestly the seas aren't that bad. But our stateroom does creak and pop. Same with the Haven Restaurant and the thermal suite. I don't know if this is normal or not. Maybe when waves are eight to ten feet (that's my very non scientific guess), all ships do this. I will say that we are not experiencing anything like you did! And, I'm thankful for that.

Breakfast today.... after the requisite pastries, fruits, cheeses, and meats from the buffet. There's no wondering why one gains weight on a cruise!

20231125_081006.thumb.jpg.9ad5637d009e74378ddb8ce2fa95a893.jpg

One egg was perfectly runny. The other was perfectly hard boiled. Interesting dichotomy. Good breakfast. Husband had French Toast. I stole a bite as he really enjoys the dish. I didn't like the bread, so am glad I didn't order it.

Today, the Slot Pull starts at 11, so we have something between eating and eating!
