Need help with Sardinia

Hi,

We will visit Cagliari next September from 9:00am-7:00pm

I have always dreamed of swimming at Sardinia beaches....but now that we will be there I am having a hard time deciding what to do.

Has anyone taken a good boat excursion they can recommend or spend the day at a nice beach? (must be white powdery sand, not the pebble type)

Any advice or recommendations for this port are appreciated!

very few previous threads and/or posts about Cagliari, but reading them might be a good starting point for you

As to the preferred type of sand on the beaches there, google could be your bf by searching something like "Cagliari beaches" or "Cagliari beaches reviews" and you should  get descriptions, distances from town, type of sand, facilities etc, and you could also contact the official cagliari Tourist Information office and ask them.
