Bus transfer recommendations from Civitavecchia to airport

I’m trying to find the most cost effective means of getting to the airport after our cruise. Aside from taking the train, is there a bussing option available that any of you can recommend?

As far as I know there are no bus options to the airports from Civitavecchia.  There are shared shuttles, or buses offered by the cruise lines, but no regularly scheduled buses.

I should amend this, there is one public bus per day from Civitavecchia to the airport, on Cotral.  It is of no use to cruise passengers, however, unless you spend the night in Civitavecchia and leave the next day as it departs at 5:40 AM, Monday-Friday.  Presumably this is mainly for airport workers.
