JalenR Posted December 5, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2023 We are going on Symphony in January. My dad may need a wheelchair getting on the ship in Port Everglades. Are there wheelchairs available to use at the pier? Do they need to be reserved? Thanks so much!
MommaBear55 Posted December 5, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2023 We just showed up and got directed to the area to wait for the wheelchair transport. Only one of us could stay with our friend, we just arranged a place to meet when they got on board. A staff member wheeled her aboard.

There was no issue with our son and granddaughter coming with us as we went for security and onto the ship
Rare brillohead Posted December 5, 2023 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2023 Do you have a rental scooter or wheelchair lined up for him to use on board? Because if he can't walk far enough to get onto the ship, he's going to have trouble getting around once on board. Symphony's a very large ship.
