Help with finding excursions or DIY cultural experiences

We’ve an WC coming soon: South Pacific - Southampton. We are interested in performing and visual arts. While performing arts are often included in excursions, I don’t find “ arts in action”  offered through the normal sites. Stuff like artist or crafters making art.
Any suggestions to links or YouTube would be appreciated.

Hi Ann,

My only suggestion is use the Ports of Call boards for the various areas of your long cruise:

We have travelled all over the world on escorted (bus) tours and visited many crafters in action (often potters and carpet-maker/weavers). We booked an HAL ship's tour in La Paz Mexico and were sorely disappointed. It was supposed to feature a weavers' studio and a pottery shop. Well the weavers had been dislocated by a flood MONTHS before the tour, replaced by an 'artisans' (high end) gift shop, and the pottery shop was also just a SHOP (with an unused wheel set up in the corner).

So good luck finding the real thing!
