Transatlantic ESTA Advice

Hi everyone, My mum (UK passport) Is sailing on Ventura in Feb 24 for the transatlantic cruise stopping at Spain, Bermuda and then hitting a couple of US ports where she has tours, after that back on board the cruise to Mexico.  Its all very exiting but we dont know what to do for the ESTA. P&O not sure either.

When applying is she transiting? Or do we have to select the other option and put an arrival date of the first port.  How can I cope with a cruise if she is staying on the ship. Do we have to enter each port call day?  Any advice would be appreciated

You aren't transiting, put down the date of your first stop on US soil.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Do we have to enter each port call day?", or do you mean entering each port on the ESTA application. If that is the case and there is a section to add each US port of call then put them down even if you don't intend to get off.
There is no issue with her deciding to stay on the ship if that is her preference.

A question asked frequently.
No, you’re not intransit.

Put your address as name of ship (cruise ship) and first US port-of-call.

The address isn’t important, the ESTA is good for two years and you don’t need to update the address each time.

No worries.

But use only the official Homeland Security website, cost is $21 and no add-ons - there are official-looking visa-agency websites which charge a fee for them to fill in the information which you give them.

Solid advice.

By co-incidence, it was only yesterday that we completed our ESTAs for a trip next spring (we''ll be in the States for two nights pre-cruise). The first three or four Google hits were commercial companies (with official sounding website addresses).
