talltimbers Posted December 9, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2023 We are on Panama Canal cruise in February 2024 and have read that Columbia has imposed a $85 entry fee for Canadians. Has anyone been on a cruise that has stopped at this port since this went into effect (Nov2023) and had to pay this fee?
leaveitallbehind Posted December 9, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 9, 2023 Just a suggestion - you may also want to check with your travel agent (if you used one) or directly with the cruise line that you are on for current information on this new policy. I would think they should know and be able to advise.
Rare VintageCheap Posted January 27 #3 Share Posted January 27 We not see any entry formalities or passport checks on our over night port stop in December. Cruise passengers on a port stop are IMHO usually not entering the country. If you fly in to embark, or a cruise terminates there, that is an entry.
