How soon can you make dining reservations?

I've read posts where people couldn't get the packages or first night discounts because they were sold out.  When can you make your reservations?

You can download the Celebrity app and make reservations right away.  I've already made all of mine for my June 2024 cruise.  I haven't even paid the entire balance of the cruise yet, just the deposit.

Reservations can be made once a cruise is booked.

My cruise doesn't begin until May 2025, and right now it says check back later.  Is there a time frame that the reservations will open?

It’s possible your cruise is too far out but I don’t know for sure.  Have you joined the Captains Club yet?   That may be it.

I'm already a Captain Club member.  I'm thinking it's too far out, that's why I wondered when they start adding the options.

I booked 6 nights specialty dining a year and a day from our sailing date on the Ascent. We sail in January. I got 6:00pm for all 6 nights.

I have also booked a couple of specialty restaurants for our Feb 17, 2024 sailing. I was worried that if we waited until we were aboard our desired times might be booked up.

I don't know if making dining reservations starts a certain number of days out from your cruise.  It seems to vary.  I am booked on the Equinox in Jan 25 and Xcel in Nov 25, both are currently not offering dining yet.  Yet I was able to make my Constellation Oct 24 dining reservations six months ago.

I booked a 4 night specialty restaurant package. We cruise this March. Can I book times for the specialty restaurants now or do I have wait till I am on board?

Unfortenuetly if one books a dinning pkge, one must wait to make reservations until you are onboard. It states this clearly when purchasing a pkge. 

I guess discount trumps favourable dinning time. I will have to see how we make out in March.

I booked my dining reservations, a year and four months before my September 2024 cruise.

Do they open more dining times so that people with packages actually have some times to chose from?  Most times are booked for our Feb 2024 cruise.

If you have a dining package, be flexible with your times and dates. For that discounted rate you may miss out on the best seating times.
