Marriott Hotel in San Juan

Recommended Posts

We stayed post cruise there and it's not a bad ride from the pier. Can't remember exact time, but definitely not a terribly long cab ride. The hotel is very nice, a great swim up pool bar with food, right on the beach and a casino. And right on a main street with a little shopping.

Hey, how long ago did you book to get that rate? Ive been trying for weeks on price line and they keep rejecting my offers. Then I booked the small hotel next door. Guess we will just walk over to use Marriot's pool.

I have been there before, its nice. It wa a 15.00 cab ride from the pier. Only about 3 miles though.

PS, I used to live in Fair Oaks. My husbands family lives in Citrus Heights and Roseville. Small world.

I was wondering about the cab too

We booked on priceline as well, we booked at the end of November for the end of April. $95/pre cruise and the same for post cruise.

I was also just confirmed that the renovations are now complete at the hotel.

Hi Susan,

I just booked that right before I posted here, so about an hour or two ago.

Still looking for an approx time from the hotel to the pier.

Thanks,

Just booked this hotel tonight as well! I did not use Priceline as I will be paying with an incentive card and must book paying the "normal" rates. That's OK though since the money is not "out of pocket". Hotel does look very nice and gets good ratings on Trip Advisor. (I never book a hotel without consulting Trip Advisor!) I am excited about staying here.

Thanks for all the info everyone. We will be staying there the night of April 8, 2006, about 19 days away!!!!!

Can't Wait!!

Rob, we will be sailing out on the Serenade that night. Be sure to come down to the pier and wave goodbye to us! We are soooooo excited, too!!!!

Last time we stayed at the Marriott, it was about a $20 cab ride to the Pan Am Pier. Don't forget that in PR, the cabs charge extra for luggage. I know when we get cabs from the airport to the hotel, the dispatcher asks how many bags and people. When we rode from the hotel the cab driver saw the number of people (4) and the amount of luggage and it was $20. Hope that helps.

Can Anyone Help Me With This? We Are Flying To San Juan In November To Sail The Serenade. I Am Booking My Flights Independently, And Need To Know Which Airport To Fly Into. When I Go To Aa Website There Are Two Airports To Select. Any Help Will Be Greatly Appreciated. Thanks
