Budget rental car drop off Tampa Embassy Suites downtown

Hello, has anyone had dealings with dropping your rental car off at this location on the day of your cruise?

We did this last February, although we arrived the day before. It took us forever to find where to return our car. It’s right at the hotel lobby. We went in, found the rental people and then checked into the hotel.

Very happy with location and amenities. The next day we took the trolley to the cruise port. Easy peasy!

Yes, just walk out to the street and it’s right there.

Do you just leave the car outside the front door of the hotel when you go into the lobby?

Picking up a rental from that location post cruise, do they have a shuttle that will pick us up from port? Or do you suggest to take the trolley from the cruise port?

Sorry, answering late, just debarked from a cruise. Yes, we left our car at the front entrance. There is no shuttle from ship. If physically able, the trolley is fine. I wouldn’t think a taxi would cost much.
