Question to the pool with the glass roof

Hello everyone🫡,

we are thinking about a Dubai cruise in January 2026. I guess it will be really warm, so I wonder if the pool with the glass roof can be opened? Thank you so much in advance.

The pool roof can indeed be opened.  The AC isn't working properly at present so with the roof closed, it is quite stifling inside.

Oh ok, that doesn’t sound good. I prefer the ships with a „classic“ pool, surrounded by plenty of sunbeds.

I couldn't find a picture of the forward adults-only pool which is more of a plunge/wading pool....

Hubby is convinced! He wants to book the 7 day cruise departing in Dubai, he loves the whirlpools, who are so different to the usual round “pots”.

No comparison to the cloudy plexi shield on the back of Splendor ....

 

And the bartender will hand you a glass of Moet while in the pool on E1!

Five minutes ago we booked - two years in advance! Hubby is happy, he saw the menus here in the forum and was convinced within a couple of minutes 😂.

thanks to all of you for your friendly support. This year we will cruise on Azamara and Seabour, we will will stay in Europe, so: no long haul flights needed.
