Any hints or storage item purchases recommended for maximizing space? Leave your open suitcase under the bed. You can pull it out like another drawer to store your bulkier items such as your winter coats
Rare JamieLogical Posted January 19 #3 Share Posted January 19 (edited) I bought four of these from the local Dollar Store years ago and bring them on every cruise to turn shelves into drawers. They fold flat, so don't take any meaningful luggage space. I also have a collapsible hamper that fits well in the bottom of most cruise cabin closets that I bring on every cruise, but I can't find a link to the exact one I have on Amazon anymore. Edit: The hamper is very similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/Popup-Laundry-Basket-Two-Compartments/dp/B083CQJBCK/ Edited January 19 by JamieLogical

Rare Cruzinforpeace*** Posted January 19 Author #6 Share Posted January 19 Does anyone know if there’s a good video/pics out there accurately depicting the floor and shelf space in a Meraviglia balcony cabin (we are Aurea deck 13)? I’m starting to lean towards the collapsible storage containers and I’d really like to stack them like an extra piece of furniture but I’m not sure there would be enough room on the floor for it. I’m guessing the closets are super small from the little I’ve seen online. Any decent shelf space? There will be 2 adults and our 17 year old son so basically 3 grown bodies in that cabin. There are photos of my balcony cabin in my LiveBlog from September. I put the collapsible cubbies on the shelves inside the closet to make drawers.
Mediterranean_Honeymooner Posted January 20 #9 Share Posted January 20 Agree with other comments…we also bring those storage cubes and a collapsible hamper. Additionally, we like magnet hooks for lanyards, suction cup hooks for swimsuits, and a hanging toiletry bag for organizing/storage.

TrinaLC Posted February 2 #11 Share Posted February 2 (edited) Not a storage hack but you’ll thank me! Ther4 are only 2 or 3 US plugs/receptacles (and no USB ports IIRC). Buy and bring a couple of adapters that allow plugging in US devices into European plugs/receptacles and you will double your available spots to plug in electronic … https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B097GCZWMM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058EG0KC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 Edited February 2 by TrinaLC
