LunchBoxBob Posted January 21 #1 Share Posted January 21 I'm booked on Prima Mar 1 out of Galveston. My sister and I both use a CPAP and were curious if anyone knows if the cabins have outlets near the bed for our CPAPs. Or, should we plan on bringing an extension cord or two (if bringing own, how long would you recommend?), or just request one ahead of time? Thanks in advance! Rare Sailing12Away Posted January 21 #2 Share Posted January 21 Reach out to guest services ahead of time. They can have the DI water ready for you and can advise on the extension cords. My BIL used one in an oceanview cabin without issue, but I didn't ask about his specific set up and if he brought his own extension cord.
Rare mking8288 Posted January 21 #3 Share Posted January 21 Prima (and Viva, from what I understood) has bedside lamp w USB outlet, behind that mini nightstand is a 220v outlet that you can unplug & tap for power, probably need a EU 2 round-pin adapter plug. Assumed your CPAP is compatible and works on both 110v and 220v power, then you can just plug it bedside. Ask your steward to help if necessary, safe & healthy, happy cruising.
