shippmates Posted February 6 #26 Share Posted February 6 I have always had fixed dining due to dietary restrictions. I did open seating on my last Holland America cruise and it worked out great. I would just tell my waiter that I had a dietary need, would order my meals the night before. When you check in to get seated you give them your cabin number, go to your table and tell your waiter you pre ordered and your cabin #. They will request that order to be prepared at that time and will be served at your table when everyone else gets their meals. I am sure that Cunard would handle it the same way. You can always have your travel agent check with Cunard to get a correct answer. Enjoy your sailing.

On NCL; were you seated at the same table in the same restaurant with same serving staff at each meal?
Covepointcruiser Posted February 7 #28 Share Posted February 7 In December we sat at the same table with the same servers every night. They asked us about allergies on the first night and put them in our ship record.
shippmates Posted February 15 #29 Share Posted February 15 You are able to notify Cunard prior to boarding with any of your dietary needs. Go into your account and submit the request or have your travel do this for you. They are really good at dealing with your needs.
