Upgrade Fairy visits Tahiti!

Yes, the upgrade fairy has made a visit to the Tahitian Princess. We booked an inside cabin early last year-- category "II" or whatever was the cheapest. A few months ago Princess ran a special with outside same price as inside. So our TA got us changed to an outside category "D" and the price was $80/pp less! Well, that lovely upgrade fairy visited us at check-in on 3/20 and moved us to a Balcony. Category "BC" I think. So not only are we in paradise, but we get to see it from a balcony.

Flights were long but without delays. The IC Tahiti resort was wonderful for pre-cruise. Heading to Huahine as I type. Full review when we return.

Good for you!!! Upgrades are always wonderful and so appreciated. The 2 cruises we have booked for this summer are basically sold out, so I see no upgrades at all for either. Having a balcony for these cruises was definitely something we wanted and will enjoy that.

 

Do keep us informed about the cruise and what you do and see. Can't wait until we get there. So glad to read about the IC also. We changed our booking to the IC and are so anxious to get there.
