How obstructed are the NCL obstructed OV cabins?

e

I always look up cabins on cruisedeckplans dot com to see real life pictures of similar if not the exact cabin

Probably safest to assume you'll be getting daylight while staring at the side of a lifeboat.  You'll likely be pleasantly surprised, but maybe not.

disclaimer: I've never sailed in an OV.  If the balconies are too expensive, I just stick with the inside.  I once upgraded to an OV for a buck fifty-eight (yes, total), but later re-upgraded to a balcony as the prices continued to plummet.  This was right after the restart when there was mandatory Covid testing at the ports and the smart kids refused to book cruises.  One of my best cruises ever (Encore to AK in October 2022 with snow in Glacier Bay and Alexa tickling the keys in the OL).
