Transfer from Hotel to Airport in Fairbanks.

Hi,

What are the choices for transfer from hotel to airport in Fairbanks? My tour end in Fairbanks and my travel agency charge $30 per person for transfer to airport. Are there any taxi service in Fairbanks? I understand the airport is not far from downtown Fairbanks? Should I cancel the transfer and just call taxi from the hotel? My flight leave 9 am. Any thought or experience from anyone? ;)

Many of the major hotels in Fairbanks have free or low-cost shuttles. Most of the hotels aren't downtown, though - many are much closer to the airport. Charging $30 apiece for a shuttle is nothing but a rip-off. If your hotel isn't one of the ones with a shuttle, cabs are very easy to get.

Most of the cruisetour hotels are by the airport and if they don't offer shuttles, you can check online directly with hotel websites once you know the hotel. Otherwise just get a cab.
