Elegant Souvenirs - Cabo, Mazatlan, and/or PV?

I'm wondering if there are good stores that can be recommended for each of these ports to get elegant souvenirs, like something made of wood, but won't break the bank.  I've matured since my youthful days of collecting t-shirts and dolls from around the world.  Now, I have things like a wooden hummingbird that I picked up and several of those glass etched blocks.

Without commenting on your term "elegant" I wouid suggest that when you are Puerto Vallarta (our winter home) you take a look at some Huichol Art.  You can Google the term and read about the Huichol people.  There are a few shops, here in Puerto Vallarta, that specialize in Huichol art works.
