graceinga Posted February 13 #1 Share Posted February 13 Hi Everyone - we just booked a HAL cruise for April out of Fort Lauderdale on Rotterdam. We haven't sailed with HAL in more than 20 years. Do they assign boarding times the way Royal and Norwegian do? If so, how do I find out when ours is set for? Thanks so much!
Rare Haljo1935 Posted February 14 #2 Share Posted February 14 Check in time will be on your boarding pass about 2 weeks before sail date. You will be able to see it (boarding pass) online in your booking or in the Navigator App. You will need to complete the online check in, which you can do anytime after making the booking and getting a booking number. no fuss travel Posted February 14 #3 Share Posted February 14 Hal is super efficient at embarkation and debarkation at Fort Lauderdale. Our experience for the New Year Cruise was great for this part of the cruise.

REOVA Posted February 14 #5 Share Posted February 14 You will see a time on your final boarding pass closer to cruise. The final pass will have a QR scan code on it. Between now and then you may have a few different times show up if you check. The ship usually starts boarding around 11:30 (give or take 1/2 hour) depending on how quickly the previous Voyage cleared. However in order to stagger passengers and not have everyone bottleneck (show up at same time), HAL gives you a time. You can show up and go through security before your time but you will be sitting either upstairs (priority waiting - Neptune, 4/5 Star/ Club Orange) or downstairs depending on boarding time. FLL is and easy port and most times they let you check in and board earlier than assigned time.
