Removing CC# at check-in?

Hi everyone. Trying to check in for an upcoming cruise, and I keep getting the message that the Captain's Club number is not associated with the person who is checking in, but it's 100% correct. I've tried taking it out and typing it in myself, and it didn't do any good. My question is, if I remove the number (since it says optional) will I still be able to get my Elite+ benefits without hassle? or is it going to be an issue such that it'd be better to call shoreside to have it resolved?

I would call in and have them correct.   Alternative that I have found recently, message them on X (Previously Twitter).     I had a problem recently and messaged them.   They responded back quickly and fixed the problem.

While I don't know for  a fact but would assume that if the correct CC number is on the reservation the boarding pass may not matter.   It may be much easier to fix now then having to have corrected later.
