Specialty restaurant reservation for solo traveler

When I try to make a reservation at Ocean Blue for my upcoming cruise in April, the party size only has 2 or 4.  

How do I make reservation for 1 or do I have to wait until on board?

you don't make a reservation for 1.

 

book everything as size 2. this is normal

 

restaurants only have seating for 2, 4, 6 and so on.

Just make it for 2.

Or make it for a larger number and go to the solo meet to offer a spot at the table (but not to cover their meal) if someone has a credit but didn't make a reservation.  I did this on my recent cruise.

Book it for 2, I've done a few and always do that way.
