cruzinismyname Posted March 21 #1 Share Posted March 21 I posted this on another thread and didnt get a good answer. We are going on a transitional Carnival Spirit from Tampa through the Panama Canal and end in Seattle. 4 stops in Grand Cayman, Cartagena Columbia, Puntarenas Costa Rica and Cabo. Will the ship stick to local times, specifically the last 2 ports.

If I recall correctly, we stuck with local time most of the time, which means we changed time zones several times. My guess is you'll do the same, but this is always subject to the discretion of the Captain. Have a great cruise! Rare Hlitner Posted March 21 #3 Share Posted March 21 Most ships will change the ship time to port time, but there are exceptions. The Captain has the authority to adopt their own policy. If the ship time is different, that info will be in the daily schedule. It is also wise to check your time (and the time you must be back aboard, which will be displayed near where you exit the ship Hank
