Specialty Dining Question

We are planning on going to one or two during our cruise and was wondering with these specialty dinning spots such as Canaletto and Pinnacle Grill. could you order more then one item such as two appetizers or two main entrées without getting an additional charge?

I can't remember the answer to your question, but I do remember that there is some fine print on the menu that warns of any additional charges.

Pinnacle Grill decidedly has charges for multiple entrees and appetizers.

 

Canaletto behaves a little differently since many of the plates are intended for sharing (or at least can be ordered as sharable. There is at least one entree on each menu (lobster) that incurs an additional surcharge.

 

The days of surf and turf that included lobster at the base price seem over.

I believe the current pricing setup is no charge for extra appetizers (a change from last year when they were charging for extra appetizers) but there is an extra charge for entrées. 

 

For example, Canaletto is $10 each extra entree per the menu. 

I am not seeing Pinnacle extra entree charge on the sample menu on Navigator but I think it is $15. 
 

As noted above there are also some “special” entrees that are a surcharge above the price you pay to dine in the speciality venue. All extra charges in a speciality restaurant will also incur an 18% gratuity.

As of September, 2023 both the extra appetizer and entree charges for the Pinnacle Grill are deleted.  For extra entrees, the Canaletto continues its $10 charge for extra entrees.

 

Last February, many PG guests were ordering the bacon appetizer in addition to other appetizers after the deletion of the surcharge.
