Adding another credit card for guest?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Planning a girls trip in November on the Mardi Gras. I've been the planner/booker for everything, so I've used my credit card for all deposits, excursions, spa reservations, etc.

My friend will be paying me back on what I've done so far, but as for drinks onboard, etc can we add her credit card to her Sail and Sign so her charges don't hit my card? I'd still like to keep my credit card attached to my own Sail and Sign.

Any insight is appreciated! Thanks!

You don't have to add her to your credit card.  If you are doing all the on line registrations, you could indicate that her account will be 'cash', and when you both arrive at the pier for check-in, your friend will be shown as 'incomplete'.  At that point your friend will be asked to see a counter agent, where she can register her own credit card, or set up a cash account.

If your friend is agreeable to giving you her credit card information, then you could add her card on-line.  Or, you could just have her handle it at check-in.
