*LIVE* Norwegian Encore – 7-Night Eastern Caribbean March 31, 2024 – April 7, 2024

Get on an early tender if you want a lounger with a little shade from a palm tree. Otherwise umbrellas are $29 or a clam shell is $49.

When selecting a clamshell, you want one with a mesh vent on the back for air circulation. If you pick a solid canvas clamshell, you may become a baked clam.

The lighthouse is the launching point for an exhilarating zip line adventure. It features beautiful art work from Guy Harvey, the artist who designed the hull art for the Norwegian Escspe  IMG_1949.thumb.jpeg.853cb53a1bedd3460d67a174bff779a7.jpegIMG_2008.thumb.jpeg.79b2bcd32202d5b0b9ad2933b8af56fd.jpeg

Great Stirrup Cay is a tender port. The island has a combination of newer, bigger tenders with covered top decks and older, smaller tenders with open top decks. The Bird makes the distinction because the tenders can take 20 minutes to load and it can be blazing hot or raining wet on top decks of the tenders.

Regardless of the tender, you need to cross a moving gangway from the tender top deck to the ship.

The Jumbey Beach Grill is the main buffet on the island. It serves a beach picnic lunch with hot dogs, hamburgers, ribs, chicken, pizza, salads, fruits and cake.

For early arrivals, pastries are served on the dessert station.

One of the great upgrades NCL did pre-pandemic was to build dining spaces at the grill. Prior to that, there were picnic tables in the sand.

Thank you for the great live review of the Encore. We have not sailed on the Encore and now I am more intrigued. She looks like a beautiful ship!  Again, many thanks!

We need power!  In a standard Balcony / Club Balcony you get 3 US outlets and 1 European outlet on the desktop. The desk is on the opposite side of the room from the bed (across the sofa).

There is a shaver outlet above the bathroom sink (for shavers only).

And there is a USB port on each bedside lamp. From a cybersecurity perspective, you should never us a USB port that you don’t own. Not in a mall. Not at an airport. Not on a cruise ship.

The Garden Cafe is the place for a wide variety of international foods. The buffet is located at the bow of the ship with beautiful forward facing views  out the 2-story observation lounge windows.
