cusematt4 Posted April 3 #1 Share Posted April 3 Hi all, Do any princess cruises feature fresh Alaska salmon and seafood? Also for crab shack - does Thai feature local Alaska seafood? Is this pop up dining choice for lunch part of the princess plus casual dining venue options? Would this be eligible for one of our two casual dining meals? negn Posted April 3 #2 Share Posted April 3 We went to crab shack on our recent Caribbean cruise. Was $39 pp. It was a pop up at dinner and not eligible for any of the included dining options. We ordered the cold bucket. My DH had most of it. The steamed clams and mussels served on ice were not my thing. I should have ordered the hot option. Rare startedwithamouse Posted April 3 #4 Share Posted April 3 Nothing like you'd find locally off the ship in port. Crab shack is specialty dining, not casual.
jean-lynd Posted April 4 #5 Share Posted April 4 Getting crab in Alaska could be a challenge this year.

King Crab is not even on the menus of the local restaurants at the moment. Only Snow Crab and Dungeness Crab. Anyway, a lot of people say that Dungeness Crab tastes better than King Crab. If you can find King Crab anywhere in the U.S. right now, it most likely comes from Norway. Edited April 4 by EDVM96
