FYI - Anthem arriving 1 hour late tomorrow

We had to do a medevac at the entrance to Chesapeake Bay by the Coast Guard, and this resulted in us now arriving one hour late tomorrow morning, such that all departure times are pushed by one hour

That happened 3 weeks ago, too.  😞 

So many alpha calls and ambulances waiting at docks and medevacs.  😞

Had a feeling something happened, we saw the turn toward land on Cruise Mapper App

We got lucky, had a departure number of 12, so got off at 8:15 (said 8:45 but they go as fast as they can) and our luggage was in area 12, and straight out to parking garage.

They need to start adding time for alpha calls into the schedule, since they are unfortunately becoming a common occurrence.  😞

After the Coast Guard helo pickup, 30 min later we heard another Alpha call, we all groaned.

 

Dont get us wrong, we are glad they support folks like that, but on a ship with 4200+ passengers, plus crew, the odds are you will have an alpha call or more during a cruise.
