Goofyisme Posted April 23 #1 Share Posted April 23 Is there seating available at the Brooklyn cruise terminal in case we arrive early for embarkation?
Fortunate 2 travel Posted April 23 #2 Share Posted April 23 In 2019 we sailed from the Brooklyn terminal. Everyone arrived early! It was so packed I can’t even tell you how much seating there was. We had to find the right person to get our earned priority boarding. It was an absolute mess. They sent too many people up the escalator with no where to go (there was a person in a wheel chair being helped). The people working at the Pier were the most unorganized we have ever encountered with Princess. Pack your patience and then enjoy your cruise. Our cruise on the Regal Princess was fantastic! Rare JamieLogical Posted April 23 #3 Share Posted April 23 There is seating beyond the check-in area, but not before you get through security and check-in. The seating can fill up depending on how late the ship begins boarding.

vakamalua Posted April 23 #5 Share Posted April 23 We sailed from Brooklyn in August '22; it was a breeze. Security was open & moving quickly. We walked right up to a kiosk & right onto ship.

We flew in the day before, stayed at local hotel, took taxi to port (which got lost) but we arrived around 11:30 and we had no one around and check in was a breeze We used Princess transfers to take us to airport and end of cruise and that was a bit of a mess with buses all over the place, no signs saying which bus was going where, but we made it to the airport just fine. Had stayed in mid-town for a few nights & took a car service to the port. Will be sailing from Brooklyn again in August & plan do the same.
