On-Board-Credit question

Recommended Posts

Can NCL on-board-credit be used towards the daily gratuities?  I know with some cruise lines it can be and others it can't.  We received $200 OBC with our NCL booking and I'm trying to decide how we'll use it.

Where did you get the onboard credit from? If it's from a travel agent and is "refundable", then the answer is most likely "yes".

If it's classified as "Non-refundable" (I.e. Stockholder OBC, etc.), then the answer is most likely no. Of course, Stockholder OBC is always either $100 or $250...so this must be something else.

Depends on the type of credit, as they're not all the same and there's different rules about what you can or can't use them on. $200 isn't a whole lot to worry about though, that can quickly be used up on meal upcharges, drink experiences/tastings, last minute excursions, transfers to the airport, fancy milkshakes from Cocoa's...
