Greg901 Posted April 30 #1 Share Posted April 30 I read that the pier for Amber cove is a long walk. Does anyone have an idea of how long it will take a slow to average walker to get from the ship to outside the gate for an excursion. We are traveling with our 80 year old parents trying to figure out what time we need to leave the ship to make a 9:00 am excursion.
Rare annmarz Posted May 6 #2 Share Posted May 6 I don't think it's that long. It is shorter than many other piers, like Cozumel. They have pedicabs which will transport you for tips.
NHNEV2003 Posted May 26 #3 Share Posted May 26 It's a long walk. I'm 74 and it would probably be about 20-25 minutes under a hot sun. As previously mentioned, pedicabs are constantly running--no charge--drivers work for tips.
Reina del Mar Posted May 31 #4 Share Posted May 31 Can anyone say what the usual tip might be? I know it is a personal choice, but some ideas would be helpful. Thanks.
