Indoor Pools on Majestic Princess and Enchanted Princess

Recommended Posts

We are considering booking a cruise on either Majestic or Enchanted. We love sitting by the indoor pool and reading in a quiet environment. We usually travel on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity and we choose the ship based on the indoor pool area.

We recently went on Carnival Venezia and their indoor pool area was far from tranquil. It was if we took our chaise lounges and put them in the center of a busy shopping mall. It was where they had most of the ships activities with a public address system.

It was not what we were expecting.

So, can someone please tell us if either Majestic or Enchanted have a quiet indoor pool area? Is adults only? Do they have planned activities?

Thank you.

Majestic has an indoor pool but Enchanted does not.  It's been a couple of years since I was on the Majestic and the pool was supposed to be adults only but it wasn't being enforced.  Others with more recent experience on the Majestic can probably help out here.  If you do choose the Enchanted they have a nice Sanctuary and you can reserve chairs in there.  The adult pool is just outside the Sanctuary and one deck down.

Majestic Hollywood pool used to be adults only  They removed the signs and changed it to all ages during the 22/23 Austrailian season  Has been all ages since

Prior to that period there used to be signs saying adults only around the pool. The signs were removed and nolonger any adult only signs, so not a matter or enforcement, but instead a change of policy for that ship.

We were on Majestic in March. Kids were allowed, but we saw few in the Hollywood Club. We found it very tranquil-but they do play pop music. Not loud, but enough to detract if one needed to concentrate on work. Ok for reading a book. No scheduled activities. No announcements. A few people quietly playing cards.

When we were on Majestic lots of children in the adult only covered pool ,spoiled the tranquility for sure

We had the same experience on Majestic. The pool was filled with shrieking children and the indoor setting made the sound reverberate so that it felt even louder.  As a result, we could not enjoy that pool.  The Hollywood Club itself was relatively child-free and was one of the more relaxing spaces during our cruise.
