Easiest International Flight after Disembarkation

Recommended Posts

Hi.  We will be taking a Celebrity Cruise in March 2025 and starting to look at fights.  Our best option is an 11:15 am flight from Sydney and we wanted to see if we could make it.  It is helps, we will get a car service from the cruise terminal to airport and have top flying status with American. We will not carry off our luggage.  Many thanks and appreciate thoughts.

If all goes well and you dock on time, it is likely you could make your flight. But if you are late in, there is every possibility you could miss it. For domestic flights, we always book them for afternoons. We have been late into Sydney and were very glad our flight was late afternoon. As for international flights, there is no way I would schedule a flight in the morning. Sydney airport recommends arriving three hours before your flight is due to leave, which would mean you would need to be at the airport by 8.15am.

There is always a chance you will arrive late, of course.   However, we booked this same flight on American Airlines (different date) and have no worries.   The reason is we always look at what flights Celebrity allows through Flights by Celebrity, and this flight is listed.    Also, the last time we sailed into Sydney, we were at the airport by 9am without rushing.   There are plenty of taxis at the terminal.
