QM2 May - June 2026 schedule gap?

Does anyone know what's going on with the QM2 between the end of her M610 Eastbound crossing that disembarks on May 15, 2026 and the next sailing on her published schedule of M612, the "Scenic Jurassic Coast Voyage", embarking on June 24?  There's a 40 day gap (and no sailing numbered M611).

We're all assuming it's her half life full overhaul.

M612 is easy to cancel if it wasn't finished on time.

We'd have preferred to do a round trip TA at that time but have had to book September.

I hadn't noticed there was no M610. Suppose they could add something at last minute if it was going to be completed early.

Yes, that gap is most likely for QM2's extended mid-life refurbishment which others on this forum have mentioned is due in 2026.

It's typical for Cunard to leave a gap in the voyage number sequence for a drydock and to schedule a short cruise immediately after the drydock. For her most recent Oct-Nov 2023 drydock, there was no voyage number M333 in her schedule. And voyage M334 was a short 3-night cruise to Zeebrugge.
