Who should I book a Cruise with

Can't you still buy your insurance independently if you book through Carnival? I haven't purchased insurance yet but plan on it around the time the final payment is due.

 

Yeah, you can book your insurance independently through other means. I even looked at places like insuremytrip.com, and even their prices were a bit over the top. Basically, I wasn't able to find insurance for $77.

 

I would love to book directly with Carnival just for the simple fact of being able to talk to someone 24/7. My current TA isn't the easiest person to get in touch with. She works out of her house, so when she is not available (seems like all the time), you can't talk to anyone. Sucks when you see a good price...you may never get in touch with her to take advantage of the price.
