Hotels in San Juan December 2024

While I have been to San Juan numerous times on various cruises we have not stayed there in many years.  Sailing on Pride on 7 December 2024 and flying in the day before from Miami. Any recommendations for a hotel for the night for 2 persons?

The WS hotel for that itinerary is the Sheraton Hotel and Casino San Juan. You do not need to stay there, of course. It is convenient to the port.

Given Windstar ships dock on the 1st pier closest to old San Juan, the Sheraton is a bit far on the other side of the bay.  We prefer the well rated El Convento in the Old City.  Lots of charm and great location. From there, it's only a 700m (less than 1/2 mile) downhill walk to the cruise terminal.

We have visited El Convento on one of our cruises and we did love the beautiful courtyard space.  Will give this a look!  Thank you!

Booked Decanter Hotel as El Convento was not available for our dates.  The reviews are good so looking forward to our stay!
