For those who prefer S Class to E or M, tell me why.

All the M class ships had that wonderful specialty restaurant. On Summit it was the Normandie, on Millie it was the Olympia. The menus and service were wonderful. It was a very novel concept at the time but was wildly successful. Such a shame that they eliminated them. Murano on S class comes close but still falls short of the elegance of those original M class specialties.

You are so right on the elegance of the original M class speciality restaurants.

We would go 2-3 times on most sailings and just typing about them brings back great memories of a 2 hour plus meal that was  memorable with the presentation, the service, the food/menu.  We always looked forward to the shuffles.  We sailed on Infinity and Constellation  as to M class ships till we sailed Summit in 2023.

We liked the Murano's too on S class ships.  My personal favorite was/is the Dover sol.

Indeed.  M-class ships like Constellation no longer have an equivalent to Murano.  Good grief... that space (Oceanliners) on Connie was taken over by Le Petit Chef!
